Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is hiring an FP&A Analyst at the corporate office in Dallas, TX. `

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the financial reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information compliant with policies and procedures; assist with oversight and maintenance of the OneStream application as required
  • Serve as one of the subject matter experts for the OneStream tool supporting all stakeholders through strong business partnership and quality insights
  • Work on month-end and forecast cycle preparation
  • Maintain integrity of standard financial reports and build new reports as needed

  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling on property-level and company-level performance as requested by senior management and support other departments as necessary
  • Partner with Finance teams to develop, implement, and drive monthly reporting via the OneStream application
  • Ensure data integrity and governance by supporting large / complex data imports and validating accuracy through reporting
  • Participate in the data reconciliation process between OneStream and other data sources
  • Act as a trusted advisor on requested changes, partnering with all stakeholders to determine best solution for design decisions, configuration, and upstream / downstream impacts
  • Build and maintain ad hoc OneStream Quickviews and Cubeview reports
  • Understand KPIs and build dashboard to provide analysis, insight, and recommendations for strategic, financial, and analytical projects for all levels of the organization
  • Strong focus on adding value to the organization through thoughtful change management methodologies
  • Aid in the budgeting and forecasting processes regarding preparation, comparison analysis and accuracy reporting
  • Fully understand and utilize the various reporting capabilities of Omni’s reporting and analysis tools
  • Maintain and distribute short and long-term company projections
  • Prepare presentations for executive team that portray actionable conclusions
  • Identify and address procedural problems and deficiencies impacting the consistency and timeliness of financial information
  • Provide training and field support regarding financial systems and reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • 3+ years of experience, preferably in hospitality or consulting field
  • 2+ years with OneStream as a user / super-user and/or an administrator
  • Experience with VB.net is a plus
  • Able to seek more efficient, better paths by pushing the boundaries and thinking outside the box to push the organization to the next level of performance
  • Able to be a driver of change and break down barriers by educating resistance
  • Great communication skills, problem solving attitude, and big picture focus
  • Experience generating reporting to support finance and business stakeholders
  • High level of analytical and technical skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information across varying levels of understanding
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to recognize problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions and define/suggest resolutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience using accounting and analytics software
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
