Job Description

The primary function of the OneStream Developer is to provide the enterprise with an effective and accurate OneStream tool while continuing to improve and develop on the platform, enhancing the value to the organization. Lead the design and development of both existing and new solutions within the OneStream Platform, which currently serves as the primary tool for financial planning, reporting, data visualization, account reconciliation, and transaction matching.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall development and complex maintenance of OneStream
  • Lead in the design, build, rollout, and training of new modules
  • Develop and maintain custom business rules, data management jobs, data sources/integrations, transformation rules, and workflow profiles
  • Collaborate with various divisions throughout the company on metadata needs
  • Work collaboratively with IT Leadership, business stakeholders, and implementation partners to deliver current and future business needs
  • Provide guidance for the creation and maintenance  of complex financial reports and forms
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and management reports through integration of operational data
  • Create new data sources and assist with validations from source systems
  • Be proactive in identifying, recommending, and developing system improvements
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, recommend best practices, and determine course of action to implement the technical solutions
  • Assist business leads in defining test plans and test scripts to be used in IT and business user testing
  • Open OneStream support cases and engage with the OneStream support team when needed
  • Troubleshoot system errors and document consistent problems for future enhancement(s)
  • Follow IT change management, incident management, and problem management policies and procedures
  • Work with business owners to develop and implement new marketplace solutions
  • Refresh development environments as needed
     

Qualifications

  • 2+ years development experience using .Net Core or commensurate development experience in OneStream
  • Proficient in PL/SQL development/troubleshooting
  • OneStream Certified Associate in Administration credential, or higher, preferred
  • 3+ years experience with EPM tools such as One Stream, Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)/Oracle Planning & Budgeting (PBCS), or other similar tool. One Stream experience is highly preferred
  • ETL-style integration experience with multiple enterprise applications
  • Documentation skills. Prior experience documenting business requirements, solution design, and test plans
  • Detail oriented; ability to track multiple projects and deliverables
  • Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with various business users and stakeholders
