Job Description

Responsibilities

This person will be responsible for assisting  in the management and operation of the hotel kitchens in a fast-paced, high volume hotel and according to Omni standards.    This person would be a leader in the Culinary Department helping to create a great atmosphere for all employees.

  • Focus on production of very fast-paced culinary banquet operation in a high volume hotel
  • Responsible for efficient and effective operation of the Restaurant kitchen and food production outlets
  • Ordering and inventory maintenance of all kitchen produce, meats and supplies
  • Perform daily administrative tasks such as documentation, menu revision/fabrication, staff scheduling and email correspondence
  • Coach & mentor line staff
  • Participate in F&B and management meetings 

Qualifications

  • Candidate should be organized and familiar with chef administrative duties such as payroll, menu design, etc.
  • Candidate should have experience managing employees in a very busy atmosphere.
  • 2-3 years Culinary management experience in a Hotel with high volume banquets is required.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours and a variety of different shifts including AM, PM, Weekends, Holidays.
