 Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Beverage Cart Manager for the beautiful new Barton Creek Country Club!

The Beverage Cart Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Beverage Cart Department to ensure exceptional food and beverage service on the golf course. This role involves managing a team, maintaining high operational standards, and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Operations Management:
    • Oversee all operations of the Beverage Cart Department, including staffing, training, scheduling, and daily supervision.
    • Perform duties of Beverage Cart Attendant, Halfway House Attendant, and Beverage Cart Supervisor as needed to support the team.
    • Maintain proper inventory levels, requisition new products as necessary, and control inventory costs.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and successful events.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Hire, train, and develop team members to meet performance standards and enhance service quality.
    • Conduct monthly department meetings to provide updates, training, and address team concerns.
    • Discipline and coach team members as necessary, fostering a positive and professional work environment.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Manage payroll, reconcile weekly time cards, and account for service charges and gratuities.
    • Prepare and communicate staff schedules to meet operational demands.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards and golf etiquette through ongoing training.
  • Guest Service Excellence:
    • Maintain a professional demeanor and deliver outstanding customer service at all times.
    • Work closely with group contacts to coordinate and execute successful events.
    • Address guest feedback to continuously improve service standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    • Oversee the maintenance of the beverage cart fleet, coordinating with the Fleet Mechanic as needed.
    • Ensure all carts are in excellent working condition and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driver’s License
  • TABC Certification
  • Food Handler’s Certification
  • 2-3 years of Supervisor/Manager experience preferred
  • Prior experience serving and selling alcoholic beverages
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Fluent in English

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 20-30 pounds without assistance
  • Flexibility in work hours, including early mornings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime (40+ hours as needed)
  • Stamina and energy to stay active for shifts up to 10 hours long
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation experience, including basic arithmetic skills
  • Capability to perform job duties in varying weather conditions
