Job Description

To oversee the associates in the department in the following areas:
a. To Oversee the Pool and Beach experiences for all guests have cohesive bond between F&B team members and recreation team members
b. To lead the Recreation and Oceanside Pool teams in their day-to-day operations
c. To oversee the training and implantation of Omni Culture while inspiring the leadership team and all associates.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions: To intertwine the pool, beach, and Oceanside Restaurant poolside experience
75% Pool and Beach- March- October
25% Oceanside Restaurant - November – February
• Office / Planning – 8a-10a daily, very for holidays
• On the Pool Deck – 10a-6p greeting, talking with guests, resolving issues, creating fan for our guests and accommodation requests


Manager of Pool and Beach Experiences with duties as follows to Oceanside:

• Oversight the guest experience while visiting the Pool and Beach
• Communicates and directs openly between Recreation and Oceanside teams
• Oversight of Paloma Y Pico, Oceanside To Go, and Oceanside Restaurant- Pool Servers
• Oversight of Pool Cabanas and Luxury Chairs (Sales and service)
• Oversight Beach experience Cabana’s, Elite and Chair & Umbrellas (Sales and service)
• Attend department meetings communicating pertinent information to associates and managers
• Focus on Timeliness, Cleanliness, Friendliness, Functionality, Teamwork
• Daily Experiences – Build a Boat, Margarita Backpack, family activities and activations etc.
• Able to lead each recreation manager/ associate in their day-to-day role to raise service levels
• Be involved with Oceanside and Recreation ATGT meetings
• Create a SOP/ MOS consistence for the whole department by job title
• Become efficient with POS systems and be the administrator for the department
• Communicate and display high levels of service to all Omni Associates
• Use business Acumen to drive revenues and produce new programing/rental opportunities.
• Provide weekly MOS audits for consistence through the department
• Using the pillars, grow our associates in a positive manner and develop ideas from their input
 Build associates confidence of Power of Engagement
 Organize ATGT meetings
 Recognize associates through OSC awards
 Balance the Trilogy
 Set the performance standard through Moments of Service
• Help develop long range plans for the department
 Pool/ Beach Cabana experiences with food and beverage offerings
 Beach reservation process

Qualifications

  • Must have previous experience in a similar role. Previous hospitality, recreation experience strongly preferred. Previous leadership experience required.
  • Bachelors degree in Recreation, Tourism or Hospitality strongly preferred. 
  • Must be able to operate golf cart safely on beach and around resort.
  • Must be able to operate company motor vehicle in accordance with company motor vehicle standards
  • Must be over the age of 21, have a Georgia or Florida license in good standing, no previous histories of license suspensions or DUIs/DWIs
  • Able to work in outdoor environment in varying weather conditions to include sun, rain, varying temperatures, humidity, etc.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry up to 50 lbs unassisted and repeatedly / up to 100 lbs unassisted and occassionally.
  • Must be able to squat, bend, stand for long periods of time while setting up cabanas, beach chairs, umbrellas and assisting guests.
