The Golf Retail Manager is an integral part of creating a memorable and enjoyable golf experience. This position and the outside services team serve as a first impression touch point of the club. This person’s personality, leadership and organizational skills will be tested daily to ensure that the product delivered is up to the Omni standard. Responsible for working with the Golf Shop Operations to give the highest level of customer service and maintaining the golf shop in an appealing manner.

• Maintain quality merchandise for both the golf shop 
• Assist in the promotion of special events for revenue generation
• Golf shop inventory, merchandising, tracking pricing and sell through
• Oversee merchandise displays and overall presentation of the golf shop and gift shop
• Supervise Golf Shop retail staff open, mid and closing shifts
• Provide on-going product training for golf shop retail attendants
• Receive, price and perform quarterly product inventory
• Work closely with tournaments and outings that involve prizes and tee gifts
• Oversee uniform allocation for all golf operations associates
• Assist members and guests with any special merchandise orders
• Training and assist Golf Shop retail agents
• Assist Head Golf Professional with Golf Shop retail agent weekly schedule

• Must posses excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have ability to work with a Point of Sales system
• Preferred PGA/LPGA Class A Member in good standing or registered Associate in PGA program actively working towards membership
• Minimum of three years Golf Shop experience
• Must be able to speak, read, write and coomunicate effectively.
• Must possess basic computational ability.  
• Thorough understanding of course rotation and tee time arrangement.
• Must possess computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift to 50 lbs
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
• Ability to work in a standing and mobile position for long periods of time.
