Job Description

 

The Director, Global Accounts is responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic sales initiatives within the Mid-Atlantic market. This person will focus on building strong relationships with association, corporate and group clients, ensuring Omni remains a preferred partner. Success is measured through increased revenues from this market, improved account revenue, market share and overall sales effectiveness.

 

This position is remotely based. Preferred to reside in the Mid-Atlantic territory, but not required

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Identify and cultivate business opportunities across the Mid-Atlantic region
  • Develop and execute targeted sales strategies that align with Omni’s brand vision and revenue goals
  • Foster and maintain strong partnerships with key accounts, meeting planners, travel buyers and decision makers
  • Use pricing strategies and financial business principles to increase strategic market revenue growth
  • Develops and supports the design of products, services and events that deliver unique customer value, and organizes activities and resources in a manner that maximizes productivity and efficiency
  • Deploys technology (SalesForce) to maximize efficiency and sales production results
  • Collaborate with peers on tradeshow and customer event strategies to achieve maximum results
  • Work closely with property-level sales teams to maximize revenue opportunities and enhance client experience
  • Serve as an ambassador for Omni Hotels & Resorts at industry events and networking functions
  • Supports the negotiation of the best possible contract terms and conditions that satisfies customer (internal and external) requirements
  • Review and evaluate account deployment, forecast account production and analysis.

Qualifications

 

  • Proven experience in hospitality sales, preferably in the Mid-Atlantic market
  • Strong understanding of association and corporate group strategies
  • Seeks input and opinions from all relevant parties. Secures all facts prior to making decisions.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel within region and beyond as needed
  • 5+ years of hotel sales experience
  • Global Sales or National Sales Experience preferred
  • Proficient in use of Excel, Word, ZoomInfo, Knowland reporting and Salesforce database tool.
  • Has worked remotely previously and been successful
  • Available for travel when needed

 

Physical Requirements:

  • The ability to sit and utilize telephone/computer for an extended period.

 

Working Environment:

  • Home Office conditions.
