Job Description

As the Director of Recreation you will oversee the recreational and entertainment options available to guests, making sure the facilities are maintained, accessible and adequately staffed. You will hire, train and oversee employees to provide sufficient guest service and supervision. Responsible for all outdoor activities, by ensurying all equipment for activities is in proper operational order and maintained for the utmost safety of our guests and associates. You will additionally be responsible for maintaining staffing budget, schedule and staff appropriately ensuring the highest possible guest service. 

Qualifications

  • Must have 5 years of Management experience. 
  • Must have 5 years prevoius experience in Recreation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. 
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays. 
  • Experience managing a crew of 25 or more.
  • CPR, AED and Basic First Aid certification or be willing to obtain same. 
  • Must have valid driver's license and meet company MVR requirements. 
  • Must be willing and able to work in different weather conditions.
