Job Description

Omni Tucson National Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced Loss Prevention Manager  to join our team. 

The Loss Prevention Manager will oversee all aspects of the Loss Prevention Department and supervision of staff.  Ensures the safety and security of all guests, members, and associates.

 

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all Loss Prevention personnel functions are being properly completed by the LP Department.
  • Assist with and oversee the safe and secure operation of the hotel, golf courses, F&B outlets, meeting spaces, and entire property
  • Ensures that shift personnel are properly assigned at all times.
  • Responsible for coordinating/conducting the hiring and termination of all LP personnel.
  • Responsible for onboarding of new hires, and all departmental training of LP personnel, completing weekly schedules, performance reviews, etc.
  • Responsible for performance management including coaching, counseling, and disciplining LP personnel.
  • Reviews all reports completed by LP officers to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
  • Maintains a good relationship with all departments within the hotel and ensures that efficient service is available at all times.
  • Reports all observed hotel property deficiencies and safety hazards.
  • Ensures that a thorough and complete investigation and report is made on incidents, (e.g., losses, thefts, and accidents and acts of violence) incurred by guests and associates.
  • Responsible for coordinating guest room surveillance.
  • Ensures that all phases of the key control program are maintained, and any discrepancies noted are investigated thoroughly and reported to leadership.
  • Ensures that all Security equipment (i.e., uniforms, walkie-talkies, cameras, etc.)  is kept clean and in good working condition.
  • Monitors all traffic in the lobby area and restaurant, restrooms, garage area, and all other areas on property to ensure safety of guests, members and associates.

 

Qualifications

  • 2 plus years of previous Security/Loss Prevention Management experience in hotel setting 
  • High School Degree or Equivalent; Some College preferred
  • Exceptional people skills preferred
  • Must be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform professionally under high levels of stress
  • Computer skills required
