The Associate Retail Buyer will partner with their Disciplines Retail Buyer to strategically build product assortments. The Associate Retail Buyer will also support growing the Retail business and work in a way that aligns with the company’s Retail strategic goals.

Location: Omni Hotels & Resorts Corporate Office in Dallas, TX (in-person)

• Assoc Retail Buyers will aid in reaching competition and buying trend.
• Assoc Retail Buyer will aid in finding potential vendors.
• Assoc Retail Buyer will communicate with existing and future vendors.
• Assoc Retail Buyers with support Retail buyer with vendor meeting preparation.
• Facilitate vendor and item set-up in the Retail Purchasing System.
• Ensure products are categorized and coded correctly to ensure consistency in Retail Inventory Management Software.
• Assoc Retail Buyer will make purchasing recommendation and place Purchase Order.
• Support Retail Buyers with Retail day-to-day operations with receiving issues, invoicing issues, and pricing changes.
• Assoc Retail Buyer will evaluate turn, stock levels and replenishments of inventory.
• Support in monthly selling reports to recap selling for each vendor & location.
• Analyze Sales Data and forecast to predict future sales to optimize inventory levels.
• Assoc Retail Buyer will aid in efforts with Retail Buyer on negotiating pricings.
• Assoc Retail Buyer will aid in efforts with Retail Buyer to ensure contract and company compliance.
• With approvals from Retail Buyer, Associate Buyer will Manage returns, Credit Memos, Markdowns, and other inventory adjustments to minimize losses

• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred.
• At least three years of Brand/Retail experience preferred.
• Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop/maintain good communication skills.
• Understanding of Open to Buy.
• Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities.
• Possesses an understanding of the target customer, supplier base and competitors.
• Able to work in fast paced environment, multi-task, organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Financial Reporting including retail math with product planning, sales margins, and inventory turn calculations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, strong Excel experience a plus.
