Job Description

The In Room Dining Manager oversees the department by communicating effectively to other team members and managing the department's associates to ensure the success of every group and/or guest.

Responsibilities

    • Assists in all areas of F&B operations
    • Manage, train, and develop team members.
    • Monitor guest room floors to ensure a successful day-to-day operation
    • Ensuring proper tray set up procedures.
    • Work within In Room Dining, Food, Beverage, and Payroll budgeted guidelines.
    • Ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
    • Conducts daily associate pre-shift meetings.
    • Supervise In Room Dining associates during operation.
    • Coordinate room set ups, service flow and breakdowns for meetings, conferences, and special events.
    • Conduct pre-event briefings and post event reviews with In Room Dining staff.
    • Oversee the daily operation of all Banquet rooms and Event spaces, ensuring events are executed according to Banquet Event Orders.
    • Address all complaints in regards to guests' satisfaction.
    • Maintain the physical atmosphere and cleanliness of In Room Dining.
    • Perform positive up-selling techniques with service staff.
    • Implement sales promotions and merchandising programs.
    • Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.Annual Salary: $80,000 - $83,200

Qualifications

    •  
      • Previous food and beverage management experience and basic and beverage wine knowledge is required.
      • Experience managing banquet events is required.
      • Experience managing a union environment is preferred.
      • Experience managing an up-scale hotel F&B operation preferred. 
      • Flexible schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
      • Understanding of financial statements and labor productivity.
      • Must possess strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
      • Micros experience is a strong advantage.
      • Food Safety and Alcohol service certifications as required by local regulations.
