Opening in early 2027, Omni Hotels & Resorts has officially broken ground and construction is well underway on Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita, the brand’s first luxury resort in Mexico. Staying true to the brand’s mission of creating elevated places and spaces that are inspired by a destination, the resort’s exterior and interiors will pay homage to the local culture with a contemporary twist.

 

This beachfront resort will feature 244 guest rooms and suites and two 4-bedroom villas with sweeping views of the Bay of Banderas. Complementing the local area’s many attractions and activities, the resort will offer three original restaurant concepts, a destination spa with 14 treatment rooms, two retail shops, multiple pools including adult-only and family-friendly options, a state-of-the-art indoor and outdoor fitness center, and a kids club. Boasting over 27,000 square feet of meeting and event space, the Omni Pontoque will feature a 6,000 square foot ballroom, an open-air pavilion, multiple event lawns and dedicated meeting rooms, all of which provide breathtaking ocean views.

Job Description

 

Debuting in early 2027, the Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita will be Omni’s first owned and managed property in Mexico! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity as the opening Marketing Manager to establish Omni’s presence in Mexico. The Marketing Manager supports the Director of Marketing and the Director of Sales & Marketing in the planning, development, and execution of strategic marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for driving brand awareness, supporting revenue generation, and ensuring all marketing efforts align with the overall business objectives of the resort.

 

 

Location: Onsite at Omni Pontoque Resort at Punta de Mita

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Support the execution of integrated marketing strategies to drive market share, revenue, and brand positioning.
  • Assist in developing and managing short- and long-term marketing plans and the overall marketing calendar.
  • Coordinate and execute multi-channel campaigns, including digital advertising, email marketing, and social media.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, Director of Sales & Marketing, and corporate teams to implement SEO, retargeting, and programmatic advertising strategies.
  • Plan, write, execute, and analyze email marketing campaigns through a structured 90-day calendar.
  • Work alongside external agencies to support social media content creation and campaign execution.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, website traffic, and market trends to optimize marketing efforts.
  • Conduct regular audits of website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
  • Partner with Revenue Management and Sales teams to develop promotions and packages that drive demand and revenue.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align marketing initiatives with operational goals and business needs.
  • Review and proof marketing materials to ensure brand consistency and quality standards.
  • Support budget management, including tracking marketing spend and forecasting.
  • Maintain and update all online profiles and digital platforms to ensure accurate brand representation.
  • Prepare and contribute to regular marketing reports and performance updates.
  • Participate in weekly revenue strategy meetings to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging marketing strategies.
  • Maintain strong internal relationships and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Analyze challenges and provide solutions that align with the best interests of the hotel.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on digital and traditional strategies.
  • 1–2 years of experience in hospitality or hotel marketing preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, content development, and digital marketing trends.
  • Experience with campaign planning, execution, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and proofreading skills.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas.
  • Proven ability to execute marketing initiatives that deliver measurable results.
