    Job Description

    The Omni Hotels & Resorts Reservations Center HR Recruitment Manager will lead recruitment efforts and help create, coordinate and deliver training for the Omaha Central Reservations Center and the companywide Work From Home (“WFH”) Reservations program. This position will collaborate closely with the Omaha, Dallas and Atlanta offices to ensure effective and consistent content delivery of training and deliver HR-related content at the Dallas/Atlanta-based training classes. This position will take the lead in all recruitment efforts and work closely with the field, Omaha and Dallas/Atlanta Associates to ensure a streamlined and effective screening, interviewing and hiring effort while meeting Omni’s goals for placing talent. This position is also responsible for creating and implementing development programs for all levels of leaders and associates that support the Reservation Center’s succession planning objectives and fosters a highly effective and engaged culture.  


    • Post jobs on the Omni Hotels website, local job boards and other recruiting sites.
    • Ensure Omni is the employer of choice by proactively reaching out to the wider community. Find and tap unrealized recruitment sources.
    • Conduct candidate searches in Linked In, Indeed, Company ATS (iCIMS), and various other sources to create candidate pipelines.
    • Utilize recruitment technology/online video interviews (screening questions etc.) to pre-screen applicants.
    • Schedule in-person and online/phone interviews with appropriate decision-makers and interviewers.
    • Collect feedback from interview participants / hiring managers.
    • Send out work styles surveys and utilize online profiles to help make informed hiring decisions.
    • Ensure interview and hiring process meets legal standards and behavioral interviewing techniques.
    • Ensure that applicants are tracked and moved through the interview/approval process in a timely manner.
    • Conduct employment verifications, background checks and references (as needed) prior to offer of employment.
    • Facilitate the internal transfer and promotion process.
    • Maintain compliant OFCCP reporting and updated Applicant Flow Logs throughout the year.
    • Present HR-related topics (such as attendance, culture, policies) at Dallas/Atlanta based new hire training classes.
    • Assist with wage surveys as needed to ensure Omni’s is a competitive employer.
    • Provide recommendations for changes to work schedules/functions and deployment based on knowledge of the applicant pool.Oversees FMLA, worker's compensation, ADA, short/long term disability and leave of absence requests.
    • Partners with the Payroll Coordinator to ensure all Personnel Information Forms and Payroll Adjustment Forms are created, routed and approved by the appropriate managers.
    • Confidentially and professionally handles employee relations issues, including conducting workplace investigations, identifying safety issues; works with leadership team and employees to foster a positive and safe work environment.
    • Manages HRIS to ensure compliance with applicant flow log, I9’s, background & reference checks, EEO forms, etc.
    • Develops networking contacts and attends local job fairs with local and businesses.


    • Demonstrated passion for the hotel and resort business.
    • Bachelor’s Degree required.
    • Experience and proficiency with Excel and other office software is required.
    • Strong preference for prior recruitment experience, preferably over one year.
    • Excellent demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated initiative – must be a self starter.
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities to include professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning styles, participative training design, group dynamics, interactive learning methods, systems theory and quality improvement processes, principles of customer service, advanced consulting/coaching methods, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, conflict resolution, group process facilitation, organizational effectiveness, presentation skills, and project management.
    • Experience conducting needs assessment, validating OE/OD program interventions, and measuring outcomes.
