Scheduled to open early 2018, the luxurious Omni property will be a full-service hotel and serve as a cornerstone of the mixed-use community adjacent to SunTrust Park, future home of the Atlanta Braves. The Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta will feature 16 floors, approximately 264 guest rooms including 28 suites, over 12,000 square feet of meeting space, an elevated pool deck and bar overlooking the ballpark, and a signature restaurant.

 

Located on the 60-acre mixed-use development site, at the northwest intersection of I-75 and I-285 at Cobb Parkway, the new community will redefine the traditional model of “live, work, play” into a “play, work, stay” destination. The community will also feature residences and premier office space, an entertainment venue, retail and a variety of dining options.”

Job Description

Sales Lead Coordinator:  The candidate will have a primary focus on distribution and tracking of sales leads, responding to leads from RFP sites, as well as other lead generators.  The applicant will also complete all customer proposals and regret letters with the direction from Sales Managers.  In addition,  to being responsible for processing all definite contracts to include but not limited to making files, building group pick up form and routing definite paperwork to all departments.  The candidate will be tasked with handling all incoming calls, assisting with contracts, proposals and clients.  This individual will work closely with the Sales managers, handling all duties they may require.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules work load to meet deadlines of all managers.
  • Types and distribute all correspondence, including booking notices, letters, contracts, etc. for assigned managers.  Ensures that all correspondence is 100% accurate.
  •  Maintains account files and ensures that all information is included in file, i.e. post convention reports, letters, fax information, etc.
  •  Coordinate general office functions.
  •  Ensures that all managers receive messages in a timely manner. (Messages to include name and phone number of caller, date and time call received).
  •  Performs other duties as assigned by management.
  • Coordinates the entire lead process. Receives, Researches and Assigns all leads to Sales Managers from all booking source.  Enters all leads in Delphi.  Creates Proposals and Regret letters for all Managers. Routes Definite Groups.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must be well-versed in computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office.  
  • Applicant must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to multi-task, as well as be a team player. 
  • Must be organized, have a willingness to learn and possess a positive attitude.
  • Previous hotel experience in Sales is preferred and knowledge of hotel systems including Delphi is a plus.
  • Some college preferred.
