Job Description

No Job Description for a position can possibly include all duties which may be requested by guests or required by the hotel.  The objective of all positions is to effectively provide the services personally, or to immediately refer requests to the appropriate department manager.  The following is a summary of the major responsibilities of the position.


  • Ability to asses requirements of multiple departments with respect to business operations and functions.
  • Responsible for conducting full project lifecycle analysis that would include activities and design.
  • Develop analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
  • Ability to interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
  • Develop and implement databases, data collections systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize Sales Automation.
  • Ability to work with multiple departments to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Ability to locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
  • Create, maintain and support data feeds to external partners.
  • Document processes and procedures.
  • Ensure project and process quality.
  • Create, modify, read and understand stored procedures.
  • Create, modify and troubleshoot SQL stored procedures and jobs.


  • Must be able to successfully utilize the following technical tools: SQL Server Management Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integrated Services, Visual Studio, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at SQL queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Must be a self-starter with a strong ability to organize, prioritize and work independently.
  • Excellent time management skills in order to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Above average attendance record and punctuality
  • Ability to work with many departments comprised of multiple levels of technical expertise
  • Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule
  • College graduate and/or at least 1 - 3 years related experience
  • Experience with SalesForce, Delphi and Oracle PL/SQL is a plus
  • Ability to configure data sources and connections is a plus
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Cognos BI or Tableau is a plus
