Job Description

To ensure efficient and courteous of the rooms operation of Bretton Arms Inn.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily Housekeeping, Guest Services and Front Office operations of Bretton Arms Inn.

 

  • Work with Hotel Director of Front Office and Director of Housekeeping to both schedule labor and order supplies.

 

  • Attend all scheduled Hotel, Financial Orientation, Guest Satisfaction (Medallia) Follow Up/Tracking. Compliant at all times with OMNI brand standards and cultural practices.

 

  • Responsible for working within budget and labor productivity standards

 

  • Strong attention to detail – Cleaned and Organized appearance of all areas both Front & Back of the house.

 

  • Performing monthly Omni Hotels & Resorts required training – Cultural Compliance

 

  • Strong organizational skills , prepare monthly OST meeting , MOS & Overall Scorecard compliance

 

  • Exceptional guest service skills – Continued training programs – Execution of GE action plan

 

  • Hiring, training, and disciplining of associates within the Rooms Division at the Inn
  • Ability to ensure the safety of guests and associates during an emergency.

 

Hotel Specific Essential Functions:

 

  • Ability to work in Opera PMS, Synergy MMS, Birchstreet and other hospitality computer programs.
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 6 hours. Bend, kneel and squat as needed to perform room inspections.
  • Ability to work in the weather conditions of the local area.

 

Tools and Equipment:

 

  • Telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine, computer and printer

File folders, filing cabinet, facsimile machine  

 

Working Environment:

 

  • Interior of hotel, in all areas with exposure to extreme temperatures.

 

  • Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.

 

  • Exposure to various hazardous chemicals.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for the entire scheduled shift.
  • Customer service oriented, ability to multi-task, detail orientation, and excellent organizational skills needed.
  • Four year college degree, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems and related computer programs
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
