Job Description

The Conference Services Manager will contribute to the hotel’s success by assisting meeting planners in coordinating final details for their conventions and meetings. 

Responsibilities

The Conference Services Manager will offer personalized solutions for our clients and enhance our reputation and business by aggressively working with our Operations team to ensure we exceed our client’s expectations. They will be responsible for group resume and BEO preparation including up-selling, menu development, meeting space finalization and pre-convention meetings when necessary.

Qualifications

Minimum one to two years experience in hotel Convention Services or completion of a hotel leadership development program focused in Sales or Convention Services is required. Luxury/upscale hotel experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess extraordinary room block, attrition management and client relation skills. Candidate must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of FDC and Opera are preferred and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word are required. Creativity and passion are essential.
