    Job Description

    The Vice President, Revenue Strategy & Global Distribution is responsible for implementing hotel revenue management strategies and objectives which maximize revenues and optimal business results through rate and distribution management across all market segments.

    Responsibilities

    • Optimize RevPAR and TRevPAR by analyzing/forecasting demand and establishing effective selling strategies, oversell strategies, optimal and seasonal market mix across group, transient and wholesale segments.
    • Work with the corporate leadership in recommending and implementing innovative and effective Revenue Management programs for the brand and properties.
    • Conduct ongoing competitor price/product analyses to ensure proper rate positioning/product offering.
    • Work with Revenue Management Strategy team on pricing decisions for transient, group and wholesale segments.
    • Work with team to ensure ongoing training to improve performance and drive retention,
    • Act as a liaison with electronic distribution channels and OTAs to maximize property exposure and bookings.
    • Provide a monthly analysis to management complete with view on future performance across all market segments to include rate, occupancy and RevPAR.
    • Develop selling strategies across all available distribution channels/reservation sources (PMS, third-party reservations providers, call centers, websites, OTAs, GDS, etc.)
    • Continually monitor all pertinent travel related websites to ensure competitiveness in positioning, content, availability and price.
    • Maximize revenues by monitoring transient and group production, ensuring that an optimal guest mix is maintained.
    • Critically analyze the impact of the revenue management strategies implemented by the brand and properties.
    • Compile data, analyze trends, and develop accurate weekly and monthly forecasts. 
    • Update and maintain all revenue management tools.
    • Work effectively with people, creating teamwork, taking charge, generating enthusiasm, motivating and using an uplifting and lead-by-example leadership approach consistent with Omni’s culture.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferable in business/management
    • Minimum 15 years’ experience in hospitality revenue field required, with career progression into senior management position
    • Minimum seven years’ experience required in Revenue Management leadership role
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentations to high-level business leaders
    • Travel required
