    Job Description

    The Manager, Hotel Technologies executes Technology projects from start to finish working with internal teams including support and hotel associates to meet timelines, coordinate technology deployment, and develop/coordinate documentation. The Manager, Hotel Technologies is responsible for ensuring all technology implementations have the least amount of impact on the business of the hotel. The ideal candidate will possess both hospitality industry experience and technical skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for overseeing a number of hotel technologies including but not limited to: HSIA, Point of Sale, Electronic Door Locks, Security Systems, and Inventory Systems
    • Responsible for deploying and supporting systems and applications used at Corporate Office
    • Typically requires overnight domestic and international travel up to 75% of the time.
    • Assists hotels in all aspects of deploying technology in a production environment, including coordinating with third-party vendors for required go-live components.
    • Configuration and set up of hardware for deployment at all properties.
    • Escalation resource for Tier Two Help Desk issues.
    • Maintains continuity of technology by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs that pertain to implementations.
    • Remains abreast of changes in user, system software and hardware requirements.
    • Develops and maintains documentation/procedures for the configuration and maintenance of hotel-based systems and other regular activities related to this job.

    Qualifications

    • Hospitality/Hotel work experiences a plus.
    • Knowledge of hospitality systems is a plus.
    • Project organization and management is a plus.
    • Valid passport is required.
    • Education or training in Information Technology or related or equivalent work experience.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft environment including Windows operating systems & office related products
    • Working knowledge of HSIA for Hospitality is a plus
    • Individual must have working knowledge of the TCP/IP network protocol.
    • Individual must be able to take ownership of areas of responsibility and make recommendations and decisions on the improvement and operation of those areas.
    • Individual must be customer focused and have a clear understanding of their service role in the corporation.
    • Individual must interact extensively with all levels of Omni Hotels & Resorts management and is required to act in a professional and confidential manner.
    • Ability to partner and communicate well with internal and external business partners (hotels/vendors).
    • Individual must be able to deal effectively with a wide variety of users.
