    Job Description

    Organize and oversee the Restaurant/ Lobby Lounge operation.  Ensure quality of food, beverage, service and ambiance.  Maintain proper staffing and timeliness of Restaurant.

    Responsibilities

    1. Hire staff, discipline staff, evaluate their performance and document all aspects of their employment.
    1. Training programs both group and individual to stress service, safety and product knowledge.
    1. Coordinates all Restaurant staff.
    1. Oversee maintenance of all equipment, linen and cleanliness of Restaurant.
    1. Staff Restaurant for optimum labor costs and maximum service. Write accurate schedules within designated staffing guidelines.
    1. Maintain uniform inventory and linen inventory. Perform all other administrative functions required and communicate information from management meetings.
    1. Payroll done accurately and on time.
    1. Responsible for P & L Statement.
    1. Work in a safe manner at all times and follow all safety procedures as outlined in your Standards of Conduct and Loss Prevention Manual.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of three years’ experience in Food & Beverage Management with high volume, hotel and union management experience.
    • Must be able to work holidays and weekends
    • Must have a San Diego County Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification upon hire.
