    Job Description

    Assists in directing and controlling all aspects of the Food & Beverage operation in  accordance with OMNI standards, policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    1. Assist Managers and Assistants to achieve highest possible standard of service and quality of product.
    1. Makes recommendations for the selection, training, promotion, discipline and termination of Restaurant, Banquet & Stewarding Staff. Conducts and reviews performance evaluations of Food & Beverage Managers and Assistants and is responsible for their development.
    1. Assists in establishing and implementing special programs to increase food and beverage revenues and maintain position within the region.
    1. Ensures F&B Department Heads fulfill supervisory responsibilities relating to proper scheduling, adherence to payroll procedures, training, supervision, evaluation, disciplining, and termination of F&B personnel.
    1. Ensures high standard of cleanliness through regular inspections of all F&B departments, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
    1. Monitors guest service in F&B areas to fulfill all corporate standards and achieve results on reports and guest comment analyses. Corrective action taken as needed.
    1. Implements programs to monitor and control labor costs, food and beverage costs and operating expenses to meet or exceed budgeted profit goals and achieve corporate retention standards.
    1. Establish and maintain close working relationship and effective communication flow to and from all other departments.
    1. Assists in developing budget for next fiscal year and consistently monitor financial reports to possible discrepancies to budget goals. Responsible for monthly profit and loss reports.
    1. Development of yearly budgets per department for Food and Beverage outlets.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  In charge of all Restaurant  Outlet staff at the Hotel and  Banquet & Stewarding staff.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Four to ten years' management experience in food & beverage.

    Must be able to provide certification of San Diego County Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification.
