    Job Description

    The Director, Digital Product Management is Omni’s primary digital product leader, responsible for shaping how the company leverages digital technology and data to uniquely serve our guests. The Director, Digital Product Management works to identify and analyze the largest digital opportunities, develops and populates a technical roadmap to pursue those opportunities, leads development partners and delivery team in execution, and then continuously monitors and drives results. Additionally, the Director, Digital Product Management will be a core member of Omni’s Digital Leadership Team and reports to the Vice President, Digital Commerce and Corporate Strategy.

    Responsibilities

    • Drives and articulates vision for the online experiences
    • Defines strategies that drive user experience, development, and prioritizes roadmaps across the portfolio
    • Manages www.omnihotels.com as a critical revenue channel, continuously assessing KPIs like traffic, conversion rate, and average order value to gauge effectiveness
    • Analyzes and understands the competitive environment and develops strategies to differentiate our hotels and offerings online
    • Uses data to drive decisions and prioritization. Leverages audience, engagement, sales, and conversion data to define, analyze and oversee key metrics to drive constant improvement in the business
    • Consults with various business units to determine needs and identify new opportunities to improve the customer experience and drive competitive advantage
    • Communicates the product vision effectively to various stakeholders across the company
    • Conducts planning sessions, and effectively elicits and prioritizes requirements
    • Ensures business needs are captured in a clear, concise, and unambiguous way
    • Partners closely with technology and operations to ensure technical compatibility and business process uniformity of current and future state systems
    • Identifies and assesses value of technology licensing with new vendors to deliver on innovative customer experience features
    • Is responsible for developing and managing budgets and ensures financial compliance

    Qualifications

    • Proven track record in consumer-facing digital product management and engineering leadership roles
    • Deep product management experience with proven delivery of consumer facing websites and mobile products
    • Experience building a vision and strategy informed by quantitative and qualitative analysis of customer needs, the market, and other trends
    • Demonstrated ability to prioritize among competing opportunities, balance customer needs with business priorities, and articulate rationale behind decisions
    • Strong understanding of mobile technologies as well as mobile consumer usage and behaviors
    • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, cross-collaboration and team skills
    • Knowledge of digital commerce business KPIs and technologies
    • Experience with outsourced development and/or marketing teams
    • Working knowledge of online security, architecture, and PII/PCI compliance
    • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
    • Graduate degree in a related field a plus
