    Job Description

    The Corporate Communications Manager works with internal teams to plan, execute and manage communications plans.

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to creation of communications plans that meet our company’s objectives; manage against them
    • Work with internal teams including Marketing, Social Media, Content, Operations, Sales, etc. to plan and execute communications plans
    • Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline adherence
    • Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content
    • Manage day-to-day relationship with agency partners, as well as that of their corresponding property client contacts
    • Attend weekly or bi-weekly agency/property meetings
    • Demonstrate tactical proficiency in media relations, including creating and driving media outreach plans 
    • Review all media materials from agency partners and/or property media/marketing contacts
    • Assist team in planning and executing media or VIP events
    • Field and evaluate incoming media requests
    • Plan and participate in brainstorming events to generate ideas for stories, guest promotions, partnerships, etc.
    • Support Senior Communications Manager and Director of Marketing as needed basis
    • Create media coverage reports as necessary

    Qualifications

    • College degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field
    • Five plus years of related work experience
    • Strong research, writing, editing and interaction skills, perform well under pressure and be a team player
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects
    • Demonstrated ability to delegate and accurately judge and edit the work of others
    • Travel, hospitality or consumer media experience preferable
