    Job Description

    Responsible for the overall operation and success of the Pastry Department. Responsible for the execution of all Omni Hotels and Resorts company policies/procedures.


    • Responsible for all items in Pastry Kitchen, food quality, cost control, labor, staff supervision, and creating menus. 
    • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. 
    • Directly supervises all employees through hands-on leadership. 
    • Ensure guest satisfaction with the smooth and effective running of the day-to-day operation. 
    • To conduct/attend all required department meetings.


    • Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts or Baking/Pastry Arts required. 
    • At least 3 years experience as a Pastry Chef 
    • Must have experience in high volume hotel or resort 
    • Strong knowledge of food cost and inventories 
    • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule; including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
