    Job Description

    To provide proper training and supervision of all personnel including supervisors. To insure prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures. To ensure the overall success of the restaurant, bar and In Room Dining by guest satisfaction surveys and utilizing financial controls.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure that Four Diamond standards and a consistent level of guest satisfaction are met
    • Be thoroughly familiar with responsibilities of all outlets positions and be able to execute each.
    • Manage the F&B Outlet staff members.
    • Exemplify and connect F&B associates to Omni Culture.
    • Lead staff training and development, conducting Moments of Service checklists.
    • Assist with recruitment and selection of outlets associates.
    • Monitor and complete daily inventories of F&B supplies and equipment.
    • Understand and perform cash handling processes, ensuring each cashier is maintaining a bank according to standard.
    • To be thoroughly acquainted with the AM and PM checklist; ensuring all needed reports and checklists are run and completed.
    • Control of payroll, scheduling and food expenditures.
    • Complete any assignments or projects assigned by the Director of F&B.
    • Lead staff stand-ups.
    • Monitor all guest requests to ensure they are met within the prescribed time limits and handle all guest complaints maintaining a satisfactory impression with the guest.
    • Effectively engage in the service recovery process, handling all guest concerns efficiently and to the satisfaction of the guests.
    • Participate in issue prevention meetings and respond to alerts in Epitome according to direction of management.  
    • Communicate all hotel, guest and group information to associates on a daily basis.
    • Become familiar with all F&B hotel operating systems and programs.
    • Adhere to all Systems and Controls of the F&B outlets, and appropriate areas of responsibilities.
    • Creation of schedules and monitor staffing levels according to business cycles.
    • Effectively coach and counsel associate as needed and assist with completion of performance evaluations.
    • Be familiar with all beverage-related procedures and equipment and assist the cashier when needed.
    • Know and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
    • Know emergency procedures (including CPR) and work to prevent accidents.
    • Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.
    • Perform any and all other duties assigned and/or required by management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent.
    • Previous Restaurant General Manager Experience required.
    • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Understanding of financial statements and labor productivity.
    • Must be TIPS certified.
