    Job Description

    Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Director of Planning & Analytics to join our Revenue Management team in Dallas! Working closely with senior leadership, this role requires advanced analytical and influential communication abilities.

     

    This role has an instrumental impact on driving revenue while improving overall team performance and execution. As part of Omni’s Revenue Management team, you will contribute to the company’s ability to meet financial and operational objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with senior leadership to assess industry trends and develop strategic objectives that maximize Omni’s utilization of data and systems.
    • Collaborate, create and analyze budgets as a critical enabler of the annual budget process.
    • Develop and manage applications that produce vital revenue trends, analytics, and reports that are used by the revenue management team to successfully optimize pricing strategies.
    • Create, monitor, and analyze reports and analytics that support overall revenue optimization across all customer segments and distribution channels.
    • Provide strategic recommendations, based on thorough analysis, for maximizing revenue management systems, reports, and analytics.
    • Compare Omni’s historical revenue performance with industry trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
    • Identify potential improvements to Omni’s revenue management systems and analytics to ensure that all tools and applications are competitive within the industry.
    • Conduct analysis of promotions and special marketing campaigns to provide results and recommendations for future strategic opportunities.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data/Analytics, Technology, Hospitality, or related field.
    • Master’s degree preferred.
    • 3 to 5 years of experience in hotel revenue management.
    • Experience and expertise in data analysis, reporting, and platform management; specifically within hospitality.
    • Experience and expertise in data visualization tools such as Microsoft BI or Tableau.
    • Mastery of hospitality technology systems, Microsoft Office (including Excel and Access), and SQL.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities catered to both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities as needed.
