    Job Description

    We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, ambitious, and well-groomed candidate to join our Team of Hospitality Sales as Catering Sales Manager. The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for the social market segment(s) and solicitation of new customer relationships and accounts while maintaining existing relationships with current accounts.

    Responsibilities

    • Solicit new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships
    • Conduct property tours and external sales presentations to prospective customers to solicit, explain, negotiate and secure local catering business.
    • Negotiate services and prices to maximize revenue and profitability
    • The Catering Sales Manager will send proposals on all leads which fit the profile of property and actively follow through to convert from proposal to definite status.
    • Maintain professional attitude and appearance and management decorum in dealing with all other departments in the hotel.
    • Coordinate Catering support services (flowers, entertainment, decoration, A/V, etc.) to provide complete client satisfaction
    • Other duties as assigned by Director of Catering

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in the Hotel or Business Management is preferred
    • Minimum 1+ years hotel sales/catering sales experience and/or successful completion of Omni LID program; knowledgeable in Wedding and Social Event sales along with strong food & beverage background a must.
    • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and demonstrate excellent communication skills
    • Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
    • Knowledge of the operations of the hotel industry.
    • Experience with Delphi system or similar system required.
    • Proficient in all Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
    • Detail oriented, able to articulate clearly and fluently and strong communication skills required.
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
