    Job Description

    responsible for Balance Sheet reconciliations, General ledger account analysis and general journal entries, maintain the Resort’s Contracts and critical data list, Escheat reporting, recording of incoming receipts, Retail inventory, labor reporting, supervision of Income Auditor and Staff Accountant.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Familiarization with state sales tax laws and tax exempt status reporting.
    • Prepare and remit Sales and Use Tax Reporting
    • Demonstrate and communicate Omni Culture.
    •  Supervise Income Audit and Staff Accountant.

    • Prepare and Maintain Critical Data list

    • Post weekly trial balances.

    •  Generate Daily Labor reports.

    •   Escheat reporting. 

    •  Monthly journal entries.

    • Assist with month end closing
    •  Assist departments with general ledger research and re-class entries.
    •    Balance Sheet Reconciliation.

    • Bank statement Reconciliation 

        Order supplies for accounting office.

    •   Assist with Audit requests.

    •   Any other duties as assigned by management 

    Qualifications

    • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred
    • Proficiency in general ledger accounting 
    • Strong excel skills required
    • Good verbal/written communication skills
    • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
