    Job Description

    This position is directly responsible for creating solid board of director (BOD) relationships so that long-term relationships are developed, and the board members highly recommend Omni to the community.  This position also assists in procuring new clients and participation in community programs in correlation with Amelia Island Management (AIM), Real Estate and Villa departments.  Encourages a positive Omni corporate community culture with the Amelia Island Plantation Community Association (AIPCA), The Amelia Island Equity Club (AIEC), the Amelia Island Rental Property Owners (AIRPO), and the South Amelia Island Shore Stabilization Association (SAISSA).    


    Main Responsibilities:


         Board of Director Relations:


    • Attend board meetings, to include (Architectural Review Board/ARB monthly meetings, Amelia Island Plantation Community Association monthly board meetings, committee meetings and president update meetings, as necessary, SAISSA meetings and quarterly AIRPO board Meetings.
    • Meet with AIPCA Board members as required for Omni updates and partnerships.
    • Drive and improve Community satisfaction.
    • Determine community events Omni would like to partner in and provide necessary resources.
    • Communicate with legal team and managing director to assist in resolving issues.
    • Engage and involve department heads to resolve service concerns and/or improved processes, i.e., beach driving, short term rentals and other current/outstanding issues.


    • Build Consistency in Establishing Processes and Procedures:


    • Maintain a strong presence in the community.
    • Educate managers quarterly of outstanding issues.
    • Share and review minutes with managing director and corporate team.
    • Develop and follow up on Action Items.
    • Attend community affairs meetings and events.
    • Deliver presentations as required with Omni updates at monthly, quarterly and annual community meetings.
    • Respond to board member inquiries following any presentations.
    • Manage calls/e-mails from residents, board members and homeowners and respond in a timely manner.


    Omni Champion:


    • Must have an understanding of the AIPCA’s covenants & restrictions and policies and procedures as well as the memorandum of understanding between Omni and the Amelia Island Equity Club, and the Club’s Access & Use Agreement.
    • Ability to articulate any community-related issues to managing director.
    • Develop a positive image of Omni within the Community.
    • Prepare a monthly report documenting outstanding issues with the AIPCA and the Amelia Island Equity Club.
    • Enlist the support of other Omni associates in communicating community affairs issues (areas within the resort that Members have use of).
    • Continuously improve/develop and implement programs as needed.
    • Provide constant feedback to business partners.
    • Address and resolve any issues/concerns related to programs.
