Based in Charlottesville, VA you will engage in account development, revenue generation and new account acquisition. The purpose of this position is to develop existing and new accounts to generat eand optimize overall revenues through direct sales that will impact positively on the Hotel resulting in a profitable return on the investment. Direct markets for this position include, but not limited to, National Association, Religious/Social/Wedding/Fraternal, and Tour and Travel. The market segment for this position is subject to change with re-deployment as the business envrionment dictates. This person will join the group sales team to maximize revenues and margins; maintain positive interdepartmental communications; contribute to the overall direction of the Hotel and effectively manage sales expenses while exceeding overall budgeted revenues and booking goals. Success is initially measured through sales, increased revenues, improved account revenue share and increased customer value and ultimately GOP margins.
