    Job Description

    • Ski Season:
      • Rental Manager will oversee the daily winter operations of the Rental Shop, Repair Shop, Basket Check and Demo Center.  Responsible for daily supervision and scheduling of all staff and assist in management of operations of the Adventure Center (Kids Snowmobile Park, Stone Pillar and on property vendors).
    • Summer Season:
      • Adventure Center Manager is responsible for supervision, preseason setup and daily operation of the Adventure Center. This includes overseeing the following activities: zip line, Kids ATV Park, archery, tubing, XC mountain biking, events and any other activity held at the resort.


    Summer Essential Functions:

    • Responsible for scheduling and overseeing Adventure Center staff.
    • Work with the Canopy Tour supervisor and Desk Supervisor to coordinate staffing efforts.
    • Oversee Canopy Tour Desk, Adventure Center and Stone Pillar.
    • Monitor Adventure Center Staff operations and cover/arrange lunch breaks.
    • Monitor usage levels at various activities and shift staff as needed to maintain high levels of service for guests.
    • Responsible for coordinating equipment maintenance schedules and working with maintenance department to maintain equipment to safe standards. Includes staff vehicles as well as kid’s go karts.
    • Alert Recreation Director to any known trail issues to work with trail crew to maintain safe environment for guests.
    • Hire seasonal staff and manage payroll based on budgets and seasonal fluctuations.
    • Purchase and receive rental equipment and supplies using Brichstreet within budget.
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure all public and back-of-the-house areas are free of hazards and obstacles to avoid accidents.
    • Keep and maintain maintenance logs related to facilities and grounds including bike repair logs, work projects and work requests.
    • Know all work stations duties and functions.
    • Train and schedule ongoing training for activity staff.
    • Attend 9 out of 12 monthly Omni OST trainings.
    • Assist Recreation Director with creating and releasing activity spec sheets to marketing.

     Winter Essential Functions:

    • Hire seasonal staff, manage payroll and staff scheduling based on budgets and seasonal fluctuations.
    • Purchase and receive rental equipment using Brichstreet within budget.
    • Maintain rental equipment inventory and quality control.
    • Know all work station duties and functions.
    • Train and schedule ongoing training for shop staff.
    • Attend 9 out of 12 monthly Omni OST trainings.
    • Help resolve guest and associate issues and prevent them from reoccurring.
    • Document all staff related issues and provide information to the ASC.
    • Provide staff customer service training to staff with daily line-ups and monthly OST meetings.
    • Resolve all guest or staff related issues and concerns.
    • Work with Recreation Director to prepare the budget for following year.
    • Track daily reports on revenue and labor.
    • Follow all Resort procedures and policies.

    Tools and Equipment:

    • Liability forms, file folders and cabinets and tech bench.
    • Computer with RTP program, printer, phone, fax/copy machine and Radio
    • ATV vehicles
    • Skis, Snowboards and other ski equipment
    • Repair shop tuning machines and hand tools
    • Radio, computer, printer, typewriter, telephone and other necessary supplies.


    Working Environment:

    • Subject to working in a crowded, fast paced environment, long periods of walking and standing, indoor and outdoor, with adverse weather conditions.


      • College Diploma, and or relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training, experience, and/or education.
      • Must have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
      • Must provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
      • Must be attentive to detail.
      • Must have the ability to adapt to unexpected situations.
      • Must be punctual and reliable.
      • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, holidays, and weekends.
