Job Description

Oversee the day to day operations of the Golf Services Operations to include Golf Shop, Tournaments, Cart Fleet, and Practice Facilities


  • Manage the sales staff, player service staff, starters, and pace of play when on shop duty.
  • Communicate daily activities of golf operations with the cart and bag staff, golf course maintenance staff, clubhouse Food and Beverage staff and Omni hotel staff when necessary.
  • Enforce facility rules and regulations governing the use of the golf course, golf cars, driving range, and clubhouse facilities.
  • Continuously train and motivate player service staff according to Omni Culture.
  • Display conduct in an appropriate manner at all times in accordance with the Omni Hotels and the PGA of America
  • Initiate and promote golf activities for guests of the resort.
  • Render professional advice, opinions, assistance, and services as required.
  • Perform duties and meet requirements for sales, rentals, tournament golf leagues, and services which the Director of Golf/GM deem necessary.
  • Participate in daily stand-up, monthly OST meetings, and communicating daily with food and beverage staff.


  • Must play golf, be highly knowledgeable, and have experience within the golf industry.
  • Must posses excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must posses strong computer skills. (Excel, Word, Publisher)
  • Basic accounting skills
  • College degree a plus, but not required.
  • May be enrolled in the GPTP or have a Class A membership in good standing with the PGA.
